The Sludgepuppies were born very young and they shared a common speech impediment which was transferred to the keyboard after the advent of the internet. They were the first bloggers to begin stuttering when they t-t-t-typed, and they are only now returning to the blogosphere after intensive therapy. 

The Sludgepuppies are united by the fact that they all did time together and had to cope with low self esteem and pretraumatic stress disorder.

They share a common aversion to weevils, arthroscopic surgery and all crusteaceans larger than a dinner plate.

The Sludgepuppies are united by their personal admiration for Elvis, who works as an Elvis impersonator at the local Holiday Inn. Although most patrons are unappreciative, the Sludgepuppies attend every show, rapturously applauding the jumpsuited 86 year old's vocal stylings on "Viva Las Vegas". 

Ther are currently working on their posthumous works.
